OpenPlot++ is a 3D plot visualizer that depends completely on an external system to get the sample points, that is, it does not evaluate any function by itself. The main motivation is to provide quality plots to the programs Yacas and Maxima.

The name refers to the Maxima plot system written by William Schelter, called Openplot. OpenPlot++ isn't a derived version of it, but a replacement.
